Dr.I. Roshini Banu is a dedicated Ayurvedic physician whose passion for healing is deeply rooted in her family’s legacy. Growing up in a household where both her father and grandfather practiced traditional Ayurvedic medicine, she developed an early respect for nature’s healing art and a strong desire to carry that heritage forward. As a student, she distinguished herself through academic brilliance and a genuine calling for holistic wellness.
She earned her Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) degree from the Government Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital in Nagercoil in 2017. During her studies, she demonstrated exceptional academic performance and was recognized with a prestigious Gold Medal for Academic Excellence by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University—a testament to her unwavering dedication
Upon graduating, Dr. Roshini embarked on a rich clinical journey, joining ESIC Model Hospital in Tirunelveli as an Ayurvedic physician in November 2018. Over the course of five years, she honed her diagnostic abilities and therapeutic skills, providing compassionate care to a diverse patient group
With a heart set on building a care-centered institution, Dr. Roshini took on the role of Medical Officer at Sanjivani Kerala Ayurveda Hospital in Tirunelveli followed by a branch in Sriperumbudur. Here, she is actively involved in integrating clinical best practices with the traditional principles of Kerala Ayurveda. Under her stewardship, Sanjivani is steadily becoming a center recognized for authentic Panchakarma therapies and personalized treatment plans .
Today, Dr. Roshini continues to evolve as a healer, combining her familial roots, academic honors and clinical expertise to lead Sanjivani’s team. She remains committed to the hospital’s mission: offering genuine Ayurvedic care to enhance the well-being of everyone who walks through its doors.
